THE WORLD OF REBECCA & FIONA is delightful and sweet, full of pounding beats and flashing colors; it’s a big party that has been going strong for nearly two decades with no signs of slowing down. Its hostesses, Rebecca Scheja and Fiona FitzPatrick, met through the nightclub scene of their hometown Stockholm, Sweden. Recognizing their kindred spirits and teaming up as DJ duo, they quickly took said local scene – and then the world – by storm. 

Their striking visual identity was (and still is!) a key ingredient to their success, which they promoted alongside their DJ-gigs through blogging – a novel concept at the time. Soon dubbed “it-girls” by Swedish media, these two early social media innovators also became reality‑TV pioneers when Sweden’s public broadcaster SVT produced an award‑winning series about them.

Never ones to lose momentum, they moved from the DJ booth into the studio, pursuing their shared dream of not just playing electronic dance music but also producing it.

Their skills soon resulted in the debut album, “I Love You, Man” (2011), which were followed by “Beauty Is Pain” (2014). Both won Swedish Grammys awards for Best Dance/Electronic.

Rebecca & Fiona have toured the globe extensively, both as DJs and as a live pop act performing their own tracks. They also consider several collaborations during the height of the EDM era as career-defining milestones: club banger “Turn It Down” with Kaskade and ”Larva/Far Away” with Morten Breum. They’ve also opened for fellow Swede Robyn during her ”Body Talk” tour and for the late Avicii in several cities across the world, as well as having been invited by Tiësto himself to perform the world’s largest nightclub: Privilege on Ibiza.

The sound of Rebecca & Fiona is instantly recognizable, even as they’ve experimented in genres such as radio-ready R’n’B on ”Art of Being a Girl” (2018) and euphoric ’90s rave on Mega Dance (2024). Their core element, classic house music, is most present on the now iconic EP ”Fet House Mode” (2020).

As for 2026, Rebecca & Fiona are prepared to release one-off singles throughout the year, beginning with ”RAMA” in June. This hardcore trance-anthem is produced together with long-time collaborator DJ Carli and is inspired both by lost night in the early noughts and yes, the current ”EPA”-wave in Sweden.

The duo is also very excited to yet again compete as a couple in the Norwegian adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing (Skal vi danse?), a contest they’ve won several times in the past, thanks to their amazing dance skills.
